Psychotherapeutic Methods in My Practice

In my practice, I work with various psychotherapeutic methods that complement each other well. We will discuss which approach is appropriate for your individual case in a personal consultation.

The aim of my work is to help people process traumatic experiences, better understand inner conflicts, and develop new ways of dealing with themselves and others.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis focus on understanding unconscious inner connections and recurring relationship patterns—often rooted in early life experiences.

EMDR, on the other hand, focuses in particular on processing stressful or traumatic memories that continue to have an effect on the mind.

Both methods pursue the common goal of providing emotional relief, strengthening inner stability, and promoting personal development.

I understand psychological suffering largely as an expression of insufficiently processed stressful relationship experiences or traumatic events. The underlying dynamics are often not immediately accessible to conscious awareness. Symptoms can be understood as creative—albeit painful—attempts to resolve inner conflicts.

A deeper understanding of these patterns opens up the possibility of gradually questioning painful dynamics and developing new, more harmonious behaviors.
